Today, Littlearth has established itself as "designers of the coolest recycled accessories on the planet." Littlearth’s brand of hip fashion accessories and gift items, created from recycled materials, has enormous appeal to a wide range of people, from fashion-conscious teens to eco-conscious baby boomers. Littlearth has established a loyal following by offering products that appeal to this group’s design aesthetic, sense of individuality and concern for their world.
Last year, Littlearth actively recycled—among other things—more than 30 tons of rubber, 40,000 license plates and 1/4 million bottle caps.

When Rob Brandegee and Ava DeMarco founded Little Earth Productions, Inc. in 1993 they had a simple but revolutionary idea: design and make fashionable, unique and trendsetting purses and belts by reusing and recycling materials that would otherwise be overlooked or thrown away. Not only did the idea work, but it introduced the world to a new term: ecofashion.
In proportion to its popularity, Littlearth has grown from a small company working out of a suburban home into a multi-building design and manufacturing complex in the SoHo district of Pittsburgh.
